More than 50 years in the World Championship

One of the teams with half a century of experience in motorcycle racing. The history of the Snipers team began in 1964, thanks to the expertise and passion of Giancarlo Cecchini; in his hands, great champions have passed, and no fewer than 8 world titles were won with him, the last in 2004 with Andrea Dovizioso. The team from Pesaro has always been a key player in the Moto3 category. Today, it is his son Mirko who carries on his father’s passion, and the name 'Snipers' is an international and affectionate way to pay tribute to him.
Starting in 2025, the Snipers Team expands its family and embraces new challenges: alongside its established presence in Moto3, it will also compete in the MotoE World Championship, bringing its experience and dedication to electric racing. In addition to this new global adventure, the team will participate alongside IGAX Racing in the ESBK and FIM Junior GP championships, strengthening its presence in feeder series to MotoGP and continuing to nurture the talents of the future.
