Austin (United States), April 10, 2022 - We closed the last week of the race with the promise to seek redemption after the two zeros of the Indonesian and Argentine GPs, and so it was.
A not simple weekend due to the news of the rupture of the scaphoid of Alberto Surra's right hand, caused by a fall during FP3 which certainly worried the entire Team.
The Snipers, however, did not lose focus and continued to work with great intensity in search of performance in different conditions. Conditions that continued to change constantly throughout the weekend, up to the race, in which, moreover, a very strong wind rose and complicated the plans. Andrea Migno, who showed great competitiveness on the American circuit during all three days, managed, with great experience, not to be caught unprepared and, after some difficulties in the first laps, he was the protagonist of an incredible comeback until he regained the first position from which he started.
Great tussle in the last laps in which there is no shortage of overtaking and counter-overtaking, up to the last corner, where from second position, Andrea prepares the attack in search of victory. The victory will unfortunately not come, but the whole team wants to give Andrea a huge applause for the courage not to be satisfied, after two difficult races, of the second position, and to always want to fight for the best result. Snipers close at the end on the third step of the podium, a joy we have been looking forward to.
Now let's go back to Europe, where the roller coaster of Portugal awaits us.
