The Snipers team is thrilled to present the new livery for the 2024 season, the official unveiling of the new colors that will adorn the Honda HRC will take place on Thursday, February 14th at 6:30 pm at the Museum - Officine Benelli, a historic motorcycle museum in the Marche region, the perfect location for a celebration of style, performance, and personality. The designers have worked tirelessly to create a range of colors that will capture the attention of MotoGP enthusiasts and express the passion that has always driven and motivated the Snipers team. Each shade has been carefully selected to express a range of emotions and cater to the most discerning tastes: from vibrant and bold tones to more subtle and elegant hues, there is a color for every soul, and we are confident that this bike will not go unnoticed.
Mirko Cecchini, team principal, states, "I really like the new colors, they remind me of good times and give me good feelings, I am very happy. A new look to start again with new determination!" It's not just about an aesthetic update: these new colors also embody the commitment that the team has always shown over the years.
Matteo Bertelle and David Almansa are ready for outstanding performances and to race on track with the new colors, with the passion and determination that characterize these two young riders; thanks to the support of both new and longtime sponsors and the dedication of our entire team, we are ready to hit the track for a new season that we know will be full of exciting challenges and we also hope for triumphs.
The event, masterfully presented by journalist Rosario Triolo, was an opportunity to unveil the new bikes in the presence of distinguished guests, supporters, and motorcycle enthusiasts.
On stage, the first speeches were by Paolo Marchinelli, the museum director, and Andrea Biancani, Vice President of the Regional Council, who entertained the guests with enthusiasm and determination. The most touching moment was when Giancarlo Cecchini, the historic founder of the team, took to the stage, accompanied by his son Mirko Cecchini, the current Team Manager. Together, they relived the unforgettable moments of 2004, when rider Andrea Dovizioso led the team to world victory in the 125 category. The audience had the honor of hearing Dovizioso's memories, who shared emotions and anecdotes of that historic triumph.
Dovizioso's comment: "You brought a tear to my eye" he began, emotionally, before continuing "At first, I knew nothing about this world, now after all these years in MotoGP, I can say that things have really changed a lot. It used to be a much more familiar environment, you were always with the team, as if a race weekend lasted 7 days a week".
The presentation then saw the participation of some important sponsors of the team, including Rivacold, Unicom Starker, Kopron, and Global Tickets, who renewed their support for the Snipers Team. The highlight of the evening was certainly the presentation of the new young riders who will race for the team, Matteo Bertelle and David Almansa, who introduced themselves with their new race suits, ready to reveal the team's new livery.
The new look of the Snipers Team, with yellow as the main color, pays tribute to the 20 years since Andrea Dovizioso's 2004 triumph, thus celebrating a golden era in the team's history. The livery represents not only a tribute to the glorious past but also a bold statement of intent for the future, symbolizing the determination and passion that guide the team towards new victories and successes.
The Snipers Team thanks everyone who made this extraordinary event possible and is preparing with great determination to face the 2024 Moto3 World Championship season, with the aim of once again bringing the team's name to the top of the podium.
